Development Details – 8 Elm on Yonge
8 Elm on Yonge is a 69-storey condo tower on the corner of Elm Street and Yonge Street. The development incorporates the existing buildings at ground level, with a shimmering tower with satin bronze-coloured metal profile rising up towards the sky. The condo will have 819 units ranging from 314 to 996 sq. ft. and the following layouts available: studio, one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom.
Hollywood star Simu Liu collaborated on the project and was involved in aspects of the design, using his experience of downtown living in Toronto and international travel to offer insights and help to shape the condo into a building that elevates the community experience. That experience includes approximately 26,345 sq. ft. of amenity space located on floors 3 to 8 and floor 56. 17,400 sq. ft. of those are indoor amenities, offering a wide array of spaces for residents to enjoy.
At ground level, 8 Elm on Yonge will have 3,273 sq. ft. of retail space fronting onto both Yonge Street and Elm Street. These retails spaces will be in the refurbished existing buildings that currently occupy the lots on the corner of Yonge Street and Elm Street. Below ground, there will be several parking levels which will contain 41 car parking spaces and 737 long-term bicycle parking spaces. The condo will also have 86 short-term bicycle parking spaces.
