MRKT condos is the first phase in a two-tower development that is part of the multi-stage revitalization of the Alexandra Park neighbourhood. It is a development done in cooperation with the Toronto Community Housing Corporation that will replace some of the existing community housing stock with more modern residences, refurbish some of the existing community housing stock, and add several new condominium buildings to a high-demand area.
MRKT condos itself will be a 15-storey building with 175 residential units inside. The units will range in since from 516 to 1,531 square feet. The units are designed to maximise the space and some will be large enough for parents to raise their children in. The tower will rise above a four-storey brick podium that will connect MRKT condos to phase two of the development. Amenities will mostly be located in the podium, as will a collection of townhomes that will add to the choice available for buyers. The amenites at MRKT condos include an outdoor terrace with swimming pool and BBQs, a kids’ play area, a two-storey fitness centre, study areas, a party room, a dog wash, and more.

MRKT condos is located just steps from popular Kensington Market – a popular outdoor market that offers a wide variety of products to the many people who shop there and visit.
