Auberge II on the Park
Published on March 26, 2018
Introducing Auberge II on the Park – the second phase in a new condo community by Tridel that overlooks acres of green space and will be steps from the new Eglinton Crosstown LRT.
Development Details
Following on from the successful launch of Auberge on the Park, the second phase offers more of the in-demand features that made phase one so popular. Auberge II will be slightly smaller at 29 storeys and will contain 215 suites that range in size from 542 square feet to 2,207 square feet. It will stand on the edge of a new park – with trees flowers and a small pond – and will be nestled between Auberge on the Park and the final phase of the development, which has not been released yet. For the convenience of residents, the two buildings at Auberge on the Park will be connected at the lower floors – giving indoor access to all the amenities in the buildings.
Neighbourhood Details
The name says it all for Auberge II on the Park because the area is surrounded by parks. Steps to the west on the other side of Leslie St, you’ll find an interconnected series of parks that will immerse you in greenery. The area includes parks and nature spaces like Sunnybrook Park Edwards Gardens, Wilket Creek Park and Serna Gundy, which are all connected to one another. To south, across Eglinton Avenue you will enter ET Seton Park, which is the location of the Ontario Science Centre and also connects you to the Don River Trail – giving you an unimpeded journey into the heart of Toronto while surrounded by green space. With all those parks and so many trails, it is clear to see why the area has a bike score of 85/100.
For families with children, the area appears to be service by good schools. Although there is no assignment yet for Auberge II on the Park, the buildings immediately to the north of the development are in the school zone for Rippleton PS (ranked 307/3064 for elementary schools in Ontario) and Don Mills Collegiate Institute (ranked 175/747 for secondary schools in Ontario).
Transport
At present, Auberge II on the Park has an “excellent” transit score rating of 76/100, which means transit can be used for most journeys. By the time the development is completed, that score is probably going to be much higher because Auberge II on the Park will be just steps from Sunnybrook Park station on the new Eglinton Crosstown LRT. You will be connected to the entire TTC rapid transit system and can get to almost anywhere in the city easily and efficiently. It also makes this development a great investment opportunity because the arrival of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT is expected to create a huge demand for locations close to stations and this development gives the opportunity to get ahead of the crowd in that respect.
