Auberge on the Park
Published on October 6, 2017
Located at the former Inn on the Park resort at Leslie and Eglinton, Auberge on the Park will sit amongst the most interconnected park and trail system in Toronto. Take a step west across Leslie St and you will find Serena Gundy Park, Wilket Creek Park and Sunnybrook Park – three uninterrupted green spaces connected by a series of beautiful trails that will also lead you towards the famous Edward Gardens to the north and Sherwood Park, on the west side of Bayview Avenue.
Cross Eglinton Avenue to the south and you’ll find yourself in ET Seton Park – a beautiful location next-door to the Ontario Science Centre. The Don River flows through the park and, if you follow the park’s trails south, you can then join the Lower Don Recreation trail, which winds its way through parks and nature alongside the river – all the way down to the point where it meets Lake Ontario.
Away from the green spaces, there’s plenty more to grab your attention in the area around Auberge on the Park. Just a few minutes to the north you’ll find Shops at Don Mills – one of Toronto’s best places for fine shopping and dining and its premiere outdoor shopping experience. A little to the west is Leaside – a premium north Toronto community – and all the attractions that neighbourhood has to offer. Also within easy reach are the Ontario Science Centre, Toronto Botanical Gardens, excellent schools, golf clubs, and a variety of other sports and recreation clubs.
With so many parks and other distractions, you’ll have lots of opportunities to ride your bike or go for walks in nature. However, if you need to get somewhere a little quicker you have even more options. The DVP is less than 2km east of Auberge on the Park, giving you a quick exit and access to the rest of the GTA. Better still, the new Eglinton Crosstown LRT will begin service in 2021 and Sunnybrook Park station will be located just steps from Auberge on the Park.
The building itself is the first stage in a planned three-tower condominium community and will rise to a total of 45 storeys. It will boast 402 suites ranging in size from 590 to a massive 2070 square feet. The project is being developed by Tridel – the company behind impressive developments like Bloor Promenade and Via Bloor – so you can be sure that it will be built and finished to the highest standards.
