Introducing Crest at Crosstown – a mid-rise condo that is part of the Crosstown community at Don Mills Rd and Eglinton Avenue.
Development Details – Crest at Crosstown
Crest at Crosstown is an eight-storey midrise condominium building. It will be located at the western edge of the community, in a block that includes three high-rise condo towers and a collection of townhomes.
According to architectural plans for Crest at Crosstown, there will be 162 residential units with one, two or three bedrooms. The development will have 324 square metres of indoor amenity space and outdoor amenities of equal size. The majority of the indoor amenities will be located on the ground floor and they will be shared with residents of the townhomes.
Parking for the development will be in a large underground parking lot that is shared with the three high-rise towers and townhomes, with a total of 799 spaces, of which 135 are for non-residents. The parking lot will also include space for up to 1,566 bicycles.
Neighbourhood Details
Crest at Crosstown is part of the Crosstown masterplan that is creating a new neighbourhood on the north-west corner of Eglinton and Don Mills. When finished, the community will include 10 high-rise condo towers and 6 mid-rise condos, creating a total of 4,572 condo units. There will also be 190 stacked townhomes and 212 traditional townhomes in the community. As a place to live, work and play, Crosstown will also include large amounts of office and retails spaces, playgrounds and small parks, and a large community centre. With so many local amenities being added, it can be expected that the current walk score will be improved in the coming years.
With a transit score of 77/100, Crest at Crosstown already has good transit options thanks to regular bus services along Eglinton Avenue and Don Mills Road. That score is sure to improve in the near future as the Eglinton Crosstown LRT starts to operate. That LRT will have two stations within walking distance of Crest at Crosstown, making it very easy for residents to connect to the subway system and get around the city.
