Introducing EX2 condos – the second phase of the Exchange District development by Camrost Felcorp in downtown Mississauga.
EX2 Development Details
EX2 condos is a 42-storey, high-rise condo tower, sitting on the south-eastern edge of the Exchange District development and facing onto Burnhamthorpe Road West. it is the third tallest building in the development and will provide a range of unit sizes for residents. As you can see from the floorplans, there are 1-bedroom, 1-bedroom plus den, 2-bedroom, and 2-bedroom plus den units available and these range in size from 420 to 1,037 square feet. Parking will be available to buy with some larger units and storage lockers are also available to purchase. Plans show that EX2 condos will be joined by a podium level to a third building – the tallest in the Exchange District. Among the features of this podium level is a proposed grocery store that will sit between the two buildings and provide the ultimate convenience for residents. Little information about amenities has been made available but plans do show that EX2 condos will have two terrace levels on the 7th and 19th floors.
Neighbourhood Details
Just steps away from Square One shopping centre, EX2 condos is in the heart of downtown Mississauga and has just about everything you could imagine within easy reach. The walk score of 92/100 indicates that almost all daily tasks can be carried out on foot and that’s no surprise when you look what’s nearby. In addition to the massive Square One shopping centre, there are centres of learning, art galleries and theatres, municipal offices, the central library, and Mississauga Celebration Square where many big events and celebrations are held. In short, whatever you want to do or see, you’ll probably find it nearby.
Transit Details
EX2’s transit score of 84/100 indicates the wealth of public transport options nearby, including a major bus terminal at Square One and several express bus services that stop there. Those transit options will improve further in the near future when the Hurontario LRT is completed and enters service (expected in 2022). That line will quickly transport passengers to elsewhere in Mississauga or up to Brampton and will also offer connections to Cooksville and Port Credit GO train stations – giving increased options to commuters heading towards Toronto.
There are also great options near to EX2 for drivers. Highway 403 is only five minutes away and the QEW and Highway 401 are in easy reach. With those options, there are usually several routes to choose from, regardless of where your destination is.
