Linx Condominiums Development Details

There will be a total of 301 residential units in Linx Condominiums, ranging from one-bedroom to two-bedrooms plus den. According to the planning application there will be 40 one-bedroom units, 66 one-bedroom plus den units, 103 two-bedroom units, and 92 two-bedroom plus den units. Residential units begin on the third floor, which will have four units (two one-bedroom units and two two-bedroom). The remaining floors (4 to 30) will all have 11 units, including each of the layout types. There are no indications what kind of amenities the building will have but the planning application states that there will be 4,860 square feet of indoor amenities and 5,623 of outdoor amenities, making an impressive total of 10,483 square feet.

In addition to the residential units, Linx Condominiums will have office and retail space on the lower two levels. Planning applications indicate there will be 15,355 square feet of office space – most of it on the second floor – and 1,187 square feet of retail space at ground level.

In three underground parking levels and one ground level parking lot, there will be a total of 114 parking spaces. 82 of these parking spaces are for residents, 30 for visitors, and two will be dedicated car-sharing spaces. There will also be 377 bicycle parking spaces; 363 for residents and 14 for the commercial space sin the development

Neighbourhood Details

Linx Condominiums is located in Danforth Village – one of the most lively and popular residential areas in Toronto. Along Danforth Avenue there are a seemingly endless supply of stores, restaurants, cafes, and other small businesses. IN fact, with a walk score of 96/100 for Linx Condominiums, you can see straight away that just about everything you need is within walking distance. There are lots of recreational opportunities nearby as well. Stephenson Park is just a stone’s throw away and Ted Reeve Arena and baseball park is only slightly farther away.

Of course, being located in Danforth Village means you’re also within easy reach of other popular spots in Toronto. The Beaches is just to south, with the waterfront just an eight-minute journey away. Likewise, places like Leslieville, downtown Toronto and Scarborough Bluffs are very easy to get to, making this a great location to explore the city from.

Transit

When it comes to transit you’ve just about got it all at Linx Condominiums. A streetcar line runs north to south on Main Street and has stops just next to Linx Condos. Main Street subway station is just 160 metres away and sits on the Bloor-Danforth line of the subway system – getting you to Bloor-Yonge station in as little as 13 minutes. Danforth GO station is even closer; just 90 metres away! The station sits on two major lines: the Stouffville line and the Lakeshore East line. That means there are regular services throughout the day going from Danforth to Union Station, with the journey taking a little as 12 minutes. The Lakeshore East line also has services running eastbound throughout the day, passing through Pickering, Ajax and Whitby on the way to Oshawa and offering options for commuters to those locations.
