As a town that often ranks high in the best places to live lists, Oakville has long been a desirable place to live. With good access to major highways and a train station on GO transits lakeshore west line to downtown Toronto, it has always been a popular choice for commuters. With a strong real estate market, good schools, a popular main street with unique shops and restaurants, excellent recreational amenities, and a good standard of living, the reasons to move to Oakville remain.
