Swan Park Towns is a limited release of townhomes, with just 21 units available. The units are split across three townhome blocks on the east side of Swan Park Road, with seven units in each block. There are four different layouts available: Lily (1,970 sq. ft.), Lotus (2,210 sq. ft.), Iris (2,235 sq. ft.) and Poppy (2,275 sq. ft.). Each home has three floors, with an attached garage and recreation room on the ground floor. The main floor in each home has a living room, kitchen and family room, plus a walkout to a raised wooden deck. On the upper floor, the homes all have three bedrooms including a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a walk-in closet.
Neighbourhood Details
Swan Park Towns is located in the Greensborough neighbourhood in the north-east of Markham. Currently, houses across the road from Swan Park Towns are located in the school boundaries for Mount Joy Elementary School (ranked 144th out of 3046 in Ontario) and Bur Oak Secondary School (ranked 24th out of 738 in Ontario). There were plans to build a new secondary school in Greensborough but these have not been fulfilled yet and there are no indications that it is coming soon.
Is addition to quality schools, the area around Swan Park Towns is also great for commuters. Mount Joy GO station is just a four-minute drive away and offers train services to Union Station in downtown Toronto. The area around that station is also full of amenities, with a variety of shops and services available to the community.
For leisure, the neighbourhood offers plenty of green spaces to relax, unwind, or exercise. Swan Lake Park – which sits at the southern end of Swan Lake Road – is a great one for nature lovers, and the lake that gives the park its name is a great place to watch out for wildlife. For other recreational activities, Mount Joy community centre is just a short distance away and provides facilities for a wide range of sports and other leisure activities.
