SXSW – a new condo and townhome development by Primont Homes in Woodbridge, with great links to the rest of the GTA.
Development Details
SXSW has a mix of condo apartments and townhomes. The two condo towers rise 22 and 19 storeys and offer a wide range of units in a variety of sizes and layouts. In addition, SXSW has 11 townhome blocks, providing lots of single-family homes.
The development sits on the west side of Islington Avenue, just north of the junction with Steeles Avenue. That puts SXSW in the Woodbridge area of Vaughan and just a few hundred metres away from the northern border of Toronto. It’s an area that has some amenities but perhaps not as many as other areas nearby. However, with plenty of development nearby, it is hoped that there will be an increase in the near future.
Transport
Residents of SXSW will be well connected because there are lots of good transit links nearby. Highway 407 ETR can be reached in as little as four minutes and Highways 400 and 427 are only eight minutes away. With all those major roads nearby, it is relatively easy to travel across the GTA and much of the area can be reached within a reasonable time frame.
There are also decent public transport options in the area, as the transit score of 68/100 suggests. The new Vaughan extension to the subway is within easy reach, with the Highway 407 station just a nine-minute drive away and the Pioneer Village and Vaughan Metropolitan Centre stations only a little farther away.
