The Dupont is a 9-storey building with “hotel-inspired sophistication” that will provide a level of elegance and luxury for residents. There will be 7,290 sq. ft. of outdoor amenity space and 7,925 sq. ft. of indoor amenity space at The Dupont. These amenities include a dining room, fitness centre, yoga room, kids play room, co-working space, party room, games room, spa with sauna and steam room, outdoor terrace with fireplace lounges and BBQs, and an outdoor pool. In addition to a green roof on the building, there will also be a new park created at the southwest corner of the development.
The building will include 33,014 sq. ft. of retail space, mostly at grade. There will be three levels of parking at The Dupont, with 88 visitor spaces on the first floor and 301 residential spaces on two underground parking levels. The first underground level of parking will have 45 EV parking spaces. There will also be 180 storage lockers located on those underground levels, which will likely be available to purchase with select suites.
The Dupont is located on the northwest corner of Dupont Street and Shaw Street, in the popular Christie Pits neighbourhood in midtown Toronto. It is a bustling area filled with amenities and things to do. As the walk and bike scores show, there is plenty to do nearby and it can be reached easily. The area also has excellent transit options, with regular TTC services nearby that can quickly carry passengers to the Bloor subway line a short distance to the south.
