The Gloucester on Yonge
Updated on February 18, 2021
The Gloucester on Yonge is a new high-rise condo project in Toronto by Concord Adex that is nearing completion.
The Gloucester on Yonge Development Details
Construction on the project was started in 2017 under the name The Clover on Yonge and it was launched by a different developer. However, the project went into receivership in 2020 and its future looked uncertain. Fortunately, Concord Adex took over the project and has resumed development of one of the most exciting projects in downtown Toronto under a new name: The Gloucester on Yonge.
As can be seen from the construction image in the gallery on this page, construction has progressed well. The completion date is now expected to be in 2022, meaning buyers can expect to move in to their new suite in the near future.
The suites come in a range of sizes and are quite large for a downtown Toronto condo. There are one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts which range from 603 to 1,260 square feet, offering spacious layouts for residents. In total there are 528 units in the 50-storey building along with a wide variety of amenities located on the third, fourth and sixth levels. These amenities include but are not limited to a theatre room, coffee bar, meeting room, gym, yoga room, library, outdoor pool, lounge, kitchen, and guest suites.
One unique feature of the development is the separate 21-storey private residence with its own separate lobby and a direct access elevator to suites. This is the kind of luxury that sets it apart and will be appealing to many buyers.
