The Saint condos – a new high-rise development by Monto Group in a fantastic downtown Toronto location.
The Saint Condos Development Details
According to planning documents sent to the City of Toronto, The Saint condos will be 45 storeys tall and contain 242 one-bedroom units, 123 two-bedroom units and 42 three-bedroom units, making a total of 407 units. In addition to the residential units, there will be 1,269 m² of indoor amenity space, plus a further 359m² of outdoor amenities. Indoor amenities include a gym, yoga room, library, study, media room, family room/kids play room, and a party room. A 230m² terrace on the sixth level provides much of outdoor amenities, with various lounge areas, barbecues, and a bar/dining area. The remainder of the outdoor amenity space is taken up by a rooftop terrace facing to the south and west.
The plans show that the The Saint Condos will have six underground parking levels containing 78 parking spaces for residents and 7 for visitors. Considering the number of units in the building, this means there will be limited spaces available to purchase and they are likely to be restricted to the larger units. Parking for bicycles will be located on the ground floor, mezzanine level and second level, with 408 spaces available (367 for residents, 41 for visitors).
The Saint condos is located at 89 Church Street in the St. Lawrence neighbourhood, putting it right in the heart of downtown Toronto. That means you have almost everything at your doorstep. In fact, the following high-profile locations can all be reached on foot in 15 minutes or less:
- The Eaton Centre
- Meridian Hall (formerly Sony Centre for the Performing Arts)
- Nathan Phillips Square
- Scotiabank Arena
- Dundas Square
- Lawrence Market
- Ryerson University
- Hockey Hall of Fame
Of course, that’s just a snapshot and there’s actually much more nearby or just a little farther away. That’s what gives The Saint condos an almost-perfect 99/100 walk score, which indicates that almost everything you need to do can be completed on foot.
When you’re in downtown Toronto, you’re never far from transit and The Saint condos is no exception. Queen and King subway stations are both just a six-minute walk away. That gives you access to the vast TTC subway, streetcar and bus network – putting most of the city within easy reach. Meanwhile, Union Station can be reached in as little as eight minutes. From that transit hu, there are a variety of train and bus services, which head to locations in the Greater Toronto Area, elsewhere in Ontario, and farther away in Canada. This all combines to give The Saint Condos a perfect 100/100 transit score.
