West Condos
Published on December 7, 2018
Introducing West Condos – a new boutique condominium in a highly desirable location to the west of downtown Toronto.
Development Details
West Condos will be built on the grounds of a heritage site at 89 Niagara Street but will not replace it. Instead, two new towers will rise to the south of the historic building, adding to the architectural style of the area while maintaining a link to its past. The design for the development includes a new community courtyard that will connect old and new.
Inside West Condos, there will be 320 suites, ranging in size from 709 to 952 square feet. The floorplans reveal spacious interiors with 2-bedroom, 2-bedroom + den, and 3-bedroom layouts currently available. Storage lockers will be included with every suite and a parking space is also included for certain suites. The building’s amenities will include a 24-hour concierge service, gym, yoga room, dining room, party room, games lounge, kid’s corner, BBQ area, and an outdoor lounge.
Neighbourhood Details
West Condos sits in a perfect location in the middle of the Entertainment District, West Queen West, King West Village and Trinity-Bellwoods. It’s the ultimate downtown area, with everything you could possibly need at your doorstep and the demand for real estate in the area is extremely high as a result. There’s so much to see and do around here that there is too much to list, but it’s clear to see why these neighbourhoods are considered amongst the coolest and most desirable places to live in Toronto. Just take a look at the map below to get an indication of everything on offer around West Condos.
Transport
West Condos boasts a perfect 100/100 transit score – indicating that residents can enjoy “world-class public transportation” when they head out into the city. There are numerous streetcar lines, including on King Street, Queen Street and from the nearby Exhibition Place. There’s also a GO train station located at Exhibition Place and that is going to be even easier to reach once the King-Liberty Pedestrian Cycle Bridge is completed. Of course, with West Condos being just a stone’s throw from the centre of downtown, the TTC subway is also within easy reach – adding to the long lost of transit options nearby.
