Introducing One Crosstown condos – phase one of the Crosstown development by Aspen Ridges that is set to transform midtown Toronto.
Development Details
One Crosstown Condos consists of two towers sitting on top of a four-storey podium. The towers are 39 and 32 storeys tall and, between them, contain 687 residential units. The units come in a variety of shapes and sizes. There are one-bedroom suites ranging from 495 to 691 square feet, one-bedroom plus den suites from 679 to 724 square feet, two-bedroom suites from 718 to 866 square feet, and two-bedroom plus den suites from 843 to 946 square feet.
There are three levels of parking underneath each tower and a parking space is included with all suites that are one-bedroom plus den and larger. Parking for electrical vehicles can be purchased at an additional cost. Amenities at One Crosstown include a 24-hour concierge, dog wash station, lounges, meeting room, games room, gym, yoga studio, party room, dining room, bar, and outdoor terrace, and six guest suites.
Neighbourhood Details
One Crosstown is the initial phase of the Crosstown masterplan, which envisions a brand-new midtown community. The plan for the community includes a large number of mid-rise and high-rise condos, townhomes, lots of retail and office space, parks, playgrounds, walking trails, and a huge new community centre. It will genuinely be a place where residents can live, work and play.
Nearby, there is plenty more for residents to enjoy. The Crosstown community sits across the road from Toronto’s most extensive park and trails system, which follows the Don River south and extends almost all the way to downtown. To the north-west, it connects to more parks, offering a world of green for residents to enjoy. Of course, this is also a well-established area full of amenities, shops and restaurants, and that helps give the location a good walk score of 69/100, which indicates that many day-to-day tasks can be completed on foot. With the ambitious plans for Crosstown, that score should also improve significantly in the coming years.
Transit
By the time One Crosstown Condos is completed, the Eglinton Crosstown LRT will already be operating (it is scheduled to begin service in 2021). That’s great news for residents because a new major transit hub is under construction on the corner of Don Mills and Eglinton that will serve both the LRT and TTC buses. Additionally, there will be an LRT station at the junction of Leslie and Eglinton, which will also be convenient for residents of One Crosstown. It means residents will enjoy rapid transit connections just steps away from their condo from the moment that they start to live there.
