Westerly Condos is located at Bloor and Islington on the eastern edge of Etobicoke in Toronto. It is just a six-minute walk away from Islington subway station, which is on the east-west Bloor-Danforth line of Toronto’s subway’s system. Also within easy reach, at a distance of just 1.8km, is Kipling TTC and GO station, which offers subway services as well as train services to downtown Toronto. That makes this an ideal location for anyone who works in or wants easy access to downtown as the travel times are much shorter than many other parts of the city. From Kipling GO station, the journey to Union station takes just 20 minutes, with services departing every 30 minutes at peak times. Mean while, the subway journey from Islington station to Bloor-Yonge station takes as little as 22 minutes.
While travel times to elsewhere in the city are an obvious benefit of Westerly condos, the local area is also full of things to do. With a walk score of 80/100 and a bike score of 82/100 it’s clear that there is lots to see and do in the area. Whether it be patronizing local business or visiting any of the nearby parks or recreational facilities, local residents aren’t short of things to do.
