Highcrest at Whitby Shores is a development of 39 single-family homes, located in a popular area in the south of Whitby. There will be 22 semi-detached homes and 17 detached homes. As the name implies, Highcrest at Whitby Shores is located in the Whitby Shores neighbourhood in the south of Whitby. It’s a desirable location, with the nieghbourhood bordering onto water on three sides: Lynde Creek to the west, Whitby Harbour to the east, and Lake Ontario to the south. Unsurprisingly, there are lots of outdoor activities to enjoy nearby, with plenty of parks and trails in addition to the waterfront, and a conservation area on the opposite side of Lynde Creek.
It’s also a great location for commuters. Whitby is located about 20km to the east of Toronto and residents of Highcrest at Whitby Shores will have some good options for travelling there or elsewhere in the GTA. The closest entrance to Highway 401 is just 2.3km or a four-minute drive away. 5km to the wets of that highway entrance is the exit for Highway 412 – a toll road that offers efficient travel to other GTA locations. If you prefer to ride the train, Whitby GO station is just 2km away from Highcrest at Whitby Shores and is located on the Lakeshore East line, which has regular services to and from downtown Toronto.
